Professional Experience

Peter Askham has over 30 years of professional experience concentrating in the areas of accounting compliance, audit services, and strategic business planning, including defining exit strategies and building succession plans. In addition to these services, Peter devotes a significant portion of his time, as a member of the Firm’s Construction Services Group, as Co-Leader of the Firm’s Digital Media and Motion Picture Group, and as a member of the Firm’s Employee Benefits Group.

Peter joined the Firm in 1973 and became a Member in 1986. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut.

Educational Background

Peter graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Professional Affiliations & Community Involvement

Peter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), the Association of General Contractors, and the ESOP Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Connecticut Construction Industries Association, the Construction Financial Management Association, and the Connecticut Surety Association. Peter also serves on the Simsbury Board of Finance, the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, the Hartford Power Squadron, and the Community Health Charities.
