Tax Manager
The Tax Manager’s responsibilities will include, among other things, providing tax planning advice for individuals, businesses and estates, as well as the preparation and review of the related tax returns.
As the Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work as part of the broader Kostin, Ruffkess & Company team in delivering high quality services to our clients
- Interact directly with our clients on a regular basis to better understand and anticipate their needs
- Develop and coach other members of the tax group, while also taking advantage of our learning and coaching programs to assist you with your own development
The Tax Manager will have a background that includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a Master’s of Science in Taxation (MST) preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential
- Strong communication, leadership and project management skills
- Five or more years of related work experience, including 2 years of managing assignments
- Experience with CCH ProFx tax preparation software
- Experience with CCH Engagement software will be a plus
Tax Associate
The Tax Associate’s responsibilities will include, among other things, the preparation and review of business and individual tax returns, as well as performing general tax research.
You will have the opportunity to:

- Interact directly with our clients on a regular basis to better understand their needs
- Grow and develop your career with the support of more experienced tax and accounting professionals
We are seeking a person whose background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree Accounting
- Master’s Degree in Taxation a plus
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential or progress towards certification
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel, and experience with ProFx preferred
- One to three years of related work experience
Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities will include, among other things, understanding our clients’ accounting and reporting requirements, directing and supervising the audits of our clients, and the preparation of the related business and individual tax returns.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work as part of the broader Kostin, Ruffkess & Company team in delivering high quality services to our clients
- Interact directly with our clients on a regular basis to better understand their needs
- Grow and develop your career with the support of more experienced accounting and tax professionals
We are seeking a person whose background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential or progress towards certification
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Five to seven years of related work experience
Experienced Staff Accountant
The Experienced Staff Accountant’s responsibilities will include, among other things, understanding our clients’ accounting and reporting requirements and the preparation of the related business and individual tax returns.
You will have the opportunity to:

Staff Accountant / Intern
The Staff Accountant’s / Intern’s responsibilities will include, among other things, gaining an understanding of our clients’ accounting and reporting requirements and the preparation of the related business and individual tax returns.

We are seeking people whose background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree Accounting or who is currently pursuing the degree
- Plans to pursue the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential
- Strong communication and project management skills
